The Young South Wales Bar (YSWB) is a community for young barristers in South Wales to network, share opportunities, and support one another in practice. We host meetups, skills sessions, and peer mentoring focused on real problems and practical wins for those under 7 years' call.

Biographies
Rose Glanville
Rose founded the YSWB in 2025 following a Bar Council trip to the Netherlands where she experienced the benefit of the localised Young Lawyer's associations across Holland. She serves on the Young Bar Council of England and Wales, and is also the Junior Officer to the Wales and Chester Circuit and an elected representative to the Gray's Inn Barristers' Committee.
Ross McQuillan-Johnson
Ross is the co-chair of YSWB and is also a serving member of the Young Bar Council of England and Wales.
Harry Dickens
Harry is the Swansea representative of YSWB and can be contacted for all matters and events involving the West.
